A nice piece of Thunderbird history

Saw this little gem on ebay and had to grab it :D







The test car is even the same exterior and interior color as mine.  And I looooooooove the old ads in here.  Inside the front cover is an ad for the "All new" Mustang GT with 225hp and 300ftlbs.  There's even a gun store ad showing semi auto SMGs :mullet:

i have that exact article in a different issue of MT i got from someone here a while ago, with some 8 or 10 feature on fords 87 lineup including the turbocoupe.

Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...

Good ebay find!  I remember in college searching the old motor trends, at the library, and finding that exact article.  Of course I had to make copies on the color copier (pretty cool for mid 90s).  I still have the color copies today.
