brake booster question.....

Is the smaller Fox Stang brake booster a direct swap for the larger one on my '88 Bird?

I've been wondering about brake boosters lately, myself.  With my new engine, I have considerably less vacuum and because of this my brakes feel underboosted.  I'd like to know more about this smaller booster, or alternatively, what's involved in converting to hydroboost.

I need a booster, and figured the Mustang style would be the way to go if it'll work as well as a larger one and I would also have room to install a firewall adjuster for my clutch cable.

How much vacuum do you have? I've still got 17" with my setup.
