Need help and advice on my 88 T-Bird

Hi all, new here and I am looking for help doing some upgrades to my 1 owner bone stock fully loaded 88 bird, which is midnight blue with matching leather & sun roof and every option, has org paint, which is close to perfect, so bout carrying on. I would like to change out the 7.5 rear end, for a 8.8 with 373 gearing along with 5 lug wheels for front and back with the disc brakes. I would like to be able to find and gather all the parts needed to do this all at once. I have been told that a 95-96 rear end mite be best but I am not able to find out what I need for rims to make this work? I am grateful for any advice and information about doing this. Thanks from Brian

There is quite a bit of information on this site and other sites about the 5 lug swaps and 7.5 to 8.8 rear.  Search is your friend.

But, in summary...

It would be good for you to find a 94-95 Mustang and steal the front spindles, rotors, calipers, brake lines.  It might be good to get the lower control arms and struts too (if they are in good shape).

94-2004 Mustang Gt rear end will work well for you also (including all the rear disk brake hardware).

With all this SN-95 brake hardware, you will probably want the 94-95 master cylinder and proportioning valve also.

Good luck!
