Wichita airshow 2010 (56k warning) September 29, 2010, 09:13:52 PM I got lucky and went back home to Kansas to clean up some storm damage on the same weekend as the airshow. I love a good airshow so I talked my wife into going. The show was great, but the planning has gone downhill since the last show they held there in 2007. We stood in line for 2.5 hours waiting for the buses to shuttle us back to our car.The first pic is some KC-135s for Vinnie. :)A jet powered port o potty and bus. Wichita airshow 2010 (56k warning) Reply #5 – October 01, 2010, 09:39:55 AM There really wasn't much in the way of World War 2 planes this time. They did do a quick dogfight reenactment with a Zero and a Wildcat and they had some P-51s the day before I went. I was surprised because they usually do a whole Pearl Harbor reenactment. There was a B-29 that they have been restoring in Wichita for the last few years also that I did snap a pic of.And a video of the jet bus getting ready to be put on its trailer. Quote Selected

Kind of a last minute, mother nature induced thing. Just a short trip to take care of that storm damage. I would have gone to the Last Run down in Ark City if I would have had more time too.
