My kingdom for a hose....

When i was repairing my power steering, one of the metal hoses broke. It was in very bad shape and before was repaired , attaching a Cu hose to the metal. Well, i though , i can get another from any shop, since its only a metalic hose. One , two , 3......and no luck. I decided to go to the junkyard and get another used. After 5 junkyards and a bunch of opinions the only way was getting a new one. Well , i went to "specialized" store that build hoses. Well, spend the equivalent of 18 dollars and guess who ? i obtained a ugly blue hose "for high pressure" but its impossible to put there..........there are no tool in this world to put correctly this hose. Its not metallic, and i cant put the 5/8 wrench....the only way is reasemble a new metallic hose at a specialized shop........

In the U.S  its hard to find some parts for the cougar ? i was thinking that with the years the junkyard was plenty of parts, or its only my bad luck...

We can usually get hoses at the auto parts stores with little problem. If they don't have it in stock, most of the time they can have it the next day. Although there are plenty of these cars in the junk yards, I don't usually buy things like hoses(but have occasionally grabbed one from my own parts car to use).
