2 New toys and update on the 86

I usually don't post these type of pics but what to heck.My first new toy I picked up yesterday is a new 16ft car trailer. It's made by Carloina trailers and tows great!I got tired of the tow dollys and borrowing trailers and such.

The second toy I picked up today and is on the trailer another Regatta Blue 3W 86 TC. Very solid car loaded with goodies. This is going to be my V8 Bird project for the winter. It have Maxum Motorsports caster plates, rear upper and lower arms, solid trans mount, mustang 8.8 rear, Koni shocks and quads and was a 5 speed car.

Finally my beloved 86 is ready for paint and I'll be moving into the booth this weekend.

Nice setup man & a good score. Now i know who I can call when im picking up a car in MD/VA to mooch a trailer:hick:

Yes no engine or trans. Thats why I am going V8 with it.

Lol, I have 2 beat 5spds sitting right now. One is a W/C V8 unit that needs a total rebuild and the other is a W/C 4 banger box that has a bent shift fork.

Nice pair ya got there!!! Ya know, in another context I'd get slapped for that statement!! LOL Anyway, you'll love having a trailer...I really miss my open deck but it had to go to help fund the enclosed one I have now.....which has become my storage for parts!!

Keep us posted on the Bird's 5.0 swap!! The body looks like a good starting point!

Thanks I will document the 5.0 swap and keep posted. I already love the trailer been wanting one for some time but never pulled the trigger. Running all over to U hauls on their time schedule just got to be a hassel. Maybe in a few years an enclosed trailer will join the family, lol

Great looking car for a drivetrain swap. I love four-eyed turbocoupes, especially with 5.0's
