Maximum Motorsports CC Plates' finish

So I opened up my CC plates and both have some pretty nasty damage on them. One will have to be pointed downward but the other also has damage on the same side, but to a much lesser extent (couple dings on the edges of 3 spots). Have you guys received these in the same condition or should I return them for a different pair? How quickly would the bare metal rust and cause the finish to flake off?

Mine were in perfect shape and well packaged when they arrived. I would email the company about an exchange or a price adjustment. Sounds like you got a set of returns or something.

Yeah, I can't believe this is how they'd normally look when they first arrive.

Just call them and have a new set sent to you.  I wouldn't put them on, if you paid for new than they should be new.

They're already taking care of me. I ordered through one of their resellers but it doesn't seem to be a problem with MM. So far, customer service appears top notch.
