Tornadoes all around.... Reply #17 – May 11, 2010, 11:26:36 PM Quote from: vinnietbird;321441It's a way of life out here. From now until late fall,we're under a tornado watch all the time. It's really funny to watch a Northerner around here when the sirens go off. LOL. We're just used to it.Yep ---- it's similar in northeast Arkansas ---- and we've already had a few this year. I always seem to be in the wrong place when the weather hits. I'll run down to Florida only to have to hear hurricane warnings and come back to Arkansas to hear the tornado sirens ---- and last year an ice storm. And yeah ---- as for the sirens ---- they just interrupt conversations. Quote Selected
Tornadoes all around.... Reply #18 – May 12, 2010, 01:37:39 AM Take some storm spotter classes....nothing to really be afraid of.Of course, I also have a basp00get, and I've been in/through 5 twisters already.I'm more scared of roller coasters than I am of tornadoes. :hick: Quote Selected

Tornadoes all around.... Reply #20 – May 12, 2010, 05:21:30 PM There was a warning yesterday in the Ashland, Medina, Wayne county area (right where all three counties meet) and as usual everything kinda dissipated by the time it hit Summit county where I'm at. Quote Selected
