T-birds and Cougars on Monster Jam

I've been watching Monster Jam with my boys over the past year and the new 2010  season has began. what im getting at is in just about every event i watched i have seen either a t-bird, cougar or both in the events getting crushed by these trucks and their all fox bodys. Im just venting cause they all seem like they were strait bodys before the event started.I know it happens but its sad.

*Jeff Foxworthy voice* If you get angry watching junk cars get run over by monster trucks...youuuu might be a fan of an orphanned car! :rollin:
1987 20th Anniversary Cougar, 302 "5.0" GT-40 heads (F3ZE '93 Cobra) and TMoss Ported H.O. intake, H.O. camshaft
2.5" Duals, no cats, Flowmaster 40s, Richmond 3.73s w/ Trac-Lok, maxed out Baumann shift kit, 3000 RPM Dirty Dog non-lock TC
Aside from the Mustang crinkle headers, still looks like it's only 150 HP...
1988 Black XR7 Trick Flow top end, Tremec 3550
1988 Black XR7 Procharger P600B intercooled, Edelbrock Performer non-RPM heads, GT40 intake AOD, 13 PSI @5000 RPM. 93 octane

If they used Honda's and Toyota's then that crowd would be complaining, and since those cars are imports it's more likely to potentially become an international issue LOL.

There have been plenty of chances for people on this board to save these cars, when that time comes nobody steps up to the plate. So what else can they use them for? People need to be entertained by big ass trucks crushing helpless cars so what do they use, ones that nobody seem to want.

i have to agree with the above statment. weather it be lack of funds or no space to store extra cars its still sad to see them crushed. one day the only cars we will have left our the ones that belong to us here on the forums. sad but true
