p/s pressure line question

On the p/s pressure hose, is there supposed to be an o-ring on the fittings on both ends? I know it has one where the fitting goes into the pump, but on the other end, under the motor, it is g out power steering fluid. I took the hose out, and noticed there wasn't an o-ring on the bottomside fitting.

make sure the o-ring is not stuck in the pump or possibly a second o-ring from the original hose if you just replaced it

The fitting on the pump side is fine, it's the fitting on the other end of the hose that threads in beneath the motor. I didn't replace the hose (yet), I just noticed that there wasn't an o-ring on the bottom end of the hose, and was wondering if there is supposed to be one.
