been doing some thinking here's what i came up with:
take a '87-'88 tbird non turbo coupe* i like the looks better*, put in Ford Racing FR9 v8 modified for efi with 6spd tranny, 9" IRS rear end. paint would be like a pepsi blue. keep the body looking stock as possible. interior: rear seats taken out and carpeted, take seats from a lincoln ls for the front. the dash would be modified for a computer setup that'd control almost everything, digital guages of course.

what's everyone else have for ideas, there's more detail i could add to this, but this is a good starting point.

ltd wagon, looking stock on the outside, 445sbf stroker, t56, stock suspension. I would love every second of it.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

My '88 with a modded 4.6 terminator motor/transmission, build up my 8.8, redo the interior to stock, 5 lug swap with silver "Bullitt" style wheels, bigger front brakes, build up the suspension for better handling.

Then in the other bay of my garage I would want a 4-eye T-bird, with a nasty carbed and stroked BBF, some sort of insanely built auto trans, big n little bogart tire/wheel combo (nothing bigger than 16" diameter), black with silver flake and gray leather interior.

I also have dreams of building a '78 or 79 F-250 4x4 xlt, reg cab/long bed, 6' lift, built 460 with granny 4 spd, orange/tan two tone, 16.5 chrome spoker wheels with 35"s, some sort of gaudy aftermarket front bumper, huge front bug deflector.  I want it to look like it drove straight out of the '70's.
