How to Replace sun visor bracket

I have a new sun visor that I purchased, but it does not have the bracket with the rod going into it.  Does anybody know how to remove that from my old sun visor and install it in the new one?

I thought it was a press fit kind of deal.

Answer:  Brute force.  Just carefully and very forcefully pulled the old one off of the rod.  Greased the end of the rod, and forcefully slid the other back on.  Works perfect... and smooooth.
