Y303 Aluminum GT40 Heads F/S August 02, 2009, 04:48:11 PM Blew a head gasket the other day and decided to finally install my Twisted Wedges so now I have these Y303's to sell. They are machined with reciever grooves so a wire-loc head gasket is required such as a TFS-51400901 or equivelant. The heads use the stock pedestal bolt down rockers. I will include all the shims that I have (they install under the rocker fulcrum and are used to achieve proper lifter preload). You may or may not need them with your combo. The engine was never overheated with these heads and they are ready to bolt on and go. If you want a cheap set of aluminum heads that are supercharger ready these just might be your ticket.I'll take $500 plus shipping from DFW, TX.Haven't cleaned 'em up but just took some quick pics.PM me if interested. Y303 Aluminum GT40 Heads F/S Reply #2 – August 02, 2009, 10:32:33 PM Yeah I know, they've got 1.84 intakes I believe. My pistons have the 4 eyebrows. So you'd need HO pistons. Wont work with the SO flat tops. I figured I'd give the guys on this site first crack at 'em before I list them on the Corral or DFW stangs.I'll keep 'em up here for a few weeks though in case someone could use them. My car ran really good with these heads, they dont kill your bottom end at all :) Quote Selected

Y303 Aluminum GT40 Heads F/S Reply #6 – August 07, 2009, 04:03:56 PM You could also get a pair of trickflow heads, which do not use the same angles on the valves, requiring not valve reliefs on most engines. Quote Selected
