Heading out to Pittsburgh today to see...... Reply #4 – July 19, 2009, 06:11:02 AM I listen to a lot of different stuff, but a lot of newer music just doesn't do it for me. I have actually heard of, and heard for that matter, Nickleback, but not the others. As far as music goes, I am old. A very small sample of groups I like:Buddy HollyBill Haley and the CometsDel ShannonFrank SinatraGlenn MillerThe Beach BoysThe Electric Light OrchestraMen at WorkHuey Lewis and the News...sigh...Shiny Side Up!Bill Quote Selected
Heading out to Pittsburgh today to see...... Reply #5 – July 19, 2009, 09:02:43 AM PT442, we have the same taste in music...I dabble in antique tube radios, of course most being AM, not much of interest if you don't listen to Rush or some of the other diarrhea mouths... FM as we know it, didn't exist till after WWII and these radios are generally 60-70+ years old...Anyway, so I can use these anytime I like, I have built my own small AM transmitter(again using tubes), and it's fed by a computer with somewhere around 6000 songs(mostly late 50s to mid 80s) that rotate... Unless I'm away, it generally runs 24/7... Newest songs are country, the rock tunes chop off at around '90... Quote Selected
