3G alternator swap Reply #15 – June 10, 2009, 10:49:01 PM I would use a set of jumper cables ran together. You can pick them up for around $20 usually, and there around 6 gauge. Quote Selected

3G alternator swap Reply #20 – July 04, 2009, 09:07:42 AM Granted they're $150, but I like the 95A 3G from PA Performance. No bracket mods and I used the original wiring, just changed the connectors to the ones provided with the alternator. 64 A at high idle is more than enough - I see 14V typically. They're guaranteed for life too.For $40 more you can get it powder coated in a bunch of colors too http://www.jdsperformance.com/index.asp?initemuid=539&fcmd=item&inmake=0 Quote Selected

3G alternator swap Reply #22 – July 07, 2009, 09:11:55 PM Does it matter where in the charge wire, you put the fuse? Meaning, distance far or nearer the alternator/battery? Quote Selected
