Tbird/Cougar project of a different sort

So I've slowly but surely been compiling information, saving it as text where I can, and printing it off, to be saved in a binder, in clear plastic covers.

My thoughts as to doing it this way are A: because I may be working on a car somewhere, away from either a computer OR internet access, or B: someone may need a guideline on how and where to source parts for example, a 5-lug conversion.

I KNOW the info is online, such as CoolCats and Carm's pages, as well as a several other sites, but I want to get and save as much info as possible, to keep as "hard copy", so to speak.

While I'm mentioning those sites, let me be real blunt and say that I'm NOT ripping anyone off, and claiming what work I do copy as my own, it's more along the lines of a list of where one could get the 5-lug components, what years of donor vehicles, and then a rundown of the basics of doing the work.

Do you all think this is a good idea, or do I have some automotive A.D.D.? :rollin:

I think it would be nice to have that sort of thing. Someday you'll be happy you did ;)

I would love to. Before I lost all my computers, I had every thread that applied to suspension or H.O. stuff referenced and inventoried. I wish I would have saved them into a word format with pictures and burned it to a CD...

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
