You just get a shorter belt and unbolt it. A bypass pulley or kit is a waste of time unless you can't buy a new belt. But then again a belt is cheaper then a kit as well

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

theres a big round hole in the strut tower along the rear or side.  just run a rubber hose to that hole.

running it free like that may cause some soot splatter on the engine bay if your smog sys is actually pushing dirty air.  thats what happened on my old 3.8.

depending what year your buggy is  i removed all that stuff. and i tried one of those elim kits(junk) it said it worked with 79-93 5.0's  what it didnt say was only mustangs. but i got a dayco 5060380 and it slipped right on. just watch that you dont put to much tension on the alt snout. i did and burnt one up(belt was to short)
