Perhaps the pole will get a citation for blocking the sidewalk where the officer wanted to drive.

He did a nice job. Looks like he overlooked it when he was looking in the distance I guess. I could see it happening. Why was he going that fast and turning in a lot though?

Awhile back, in January, when my cell phone and coat were stolen, I stopped the police station in the town I work in, and of all the cruisers in the lot, all of them had fender damage, scuffs, dents, or busted lights.

Looks like your pole-hitting officer did some of his training in Brookfield..lol

Took a ride in a Active Police Interceptor Vic last week or so (front seat ride). Cop scared the shiznit of me. seemed to hold the road and had some power. Talked to him about the Chargers since we passed another cop from a neighboring jurisdiction with one. He told me the chief didnt like them so the check they just got was going to more Vics. They have been proven. Then he proceeded to throw me around in the passenger seat the rest of the drive. I have to say its a nice feeling knowing that you can go as fast as you want and not be nervous of cops, since they are sitting next to you.

The pole was cited for DWC Drinking While Cemented and making the cop the butt of everyones jokes.

Stuff happends. How many times have other people hit a pole at walmart? He may have been driving alittle bit fast in the parking lot, but he may have been chasing someone. You just don't know unless you have the whole story, and even that will be tainted by the source.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

we drove through and looked at the pole he hit. to me it looks like he misjudged his turn. arent the police supposed to be the ones to set the driving example for everyone in the community?

If they were, they wouldn't be running red lights and forcing other people off the road and turning on their lights cause there late for work. A couple of days ago a cop forced my f-550 bucket truck off the road(I was in the slow lane doing 75mph in a 65). We went to our job and ac crossed the street the same cop came out of a star bucks with a cup of coffee a doughnut and a newspaper. He sat in his car for about 45 minutes and then turned his sirens on and ran the red light.
