Well nothing to the bird but still progress

I got up this morning with a phone call my laptop was done finally. Picked it up to find out all they did was fixed the modem didnt install the extra gig of memory i wanted. but no charge since they messed that up:D.Also went and got the parts for my 4wheeler ,front and rear brakes ,oil, filter and baja light to mount on the handle bars. Got home to find the UPS box that had the carb rebuild kit for the lawn mower . Gave the laptop to the wife made her happy and out of my hair so i can get my hands dirty:hick:. Tore into the 4wheerler first replaced front brakes done. changed oil done. installed light after welding a peice of angle to the bars for the mount done. went to do the back brakes problem. The stud that the shoes hold onto was broke called the dealer $400 and they have to order it ,the stud was formed into the brake houseing. My 7 year old son while i was on the phone with this guy said dad why dont you just drill it out and put a bolt in it . the guy said that wont work i though ok 2 bucks for a bolt and two nuts or $400 bucks told the guy bye.Drilled installed and sealed around the bolt and nuts becaused its a sealed system to keep water and mud out . Installed brakes and they worked smart kid takes after his grandpaw.took the 4wheeler out drove into the shallow end of the pond to test the seal no leaks worked great but the male goose bit my oldest son in the family jewels while he was holding the gate open for me . That was funny but then it wasn't .Then i had my 9 year old daughter help me rebuild the carb for the lawn mower reinstalled it started right up . That was my day and if your wandering what the light is for its to have a hands free option for fixing fence or delivering calves at night . the 4wheeler is a 1996 Yamaha kodiak 400 4x4 .lawnmower is a sman it was a freebe from my sister .
