After much searching..... February 15, 2009, 08:32:26 PM Ive found my friend a car for him and his wife.Long story short, they were basically given a 99 SL1 satrurn 4 door about 2 years ago. Only my buddie works, but his wife is in school, medical administration or whatnot. He doesnt drive a ton but that saturn is now smoking and burning enough oil to basically clear he road behind him. We re-ringed the motor and all, still is .Soooo.... we went to the local Ford dealership.....And he is now picking up a 09 Focus SE Coupe in black. Its not too shabby for the price....(15K...a hair over.) He isnt really a ford guy per say, but since ford is the only american car company Not asking for tons of money, he decided to spend his money wih them. I test drove it with them... car now has 30 miles on it. My impression? Suprisingly big on the inside....the front seat will go back further than is comfertable for me to drive (and im 6'5 and 380 lbs) and was comfertable. LOTS o legroom. Power was actually okay...and it accelerated faster due to the nice final drive ratio...even with an auto. I like the sporty interior. and for the price.....lets see. i could get into a Scion TC.....underpowered and cramped. My buddie and his wife like it....Ill post some picks soon. Quote Selected

After much searching..... Reply #2 – February 16, 2009, 07:00:19 PM No sync...mostly because he doesnt have an mp3 player worth a , and no cellphone other than an emergency trac phone. Didnt really need it..but he was very impressed with the system. I think that the power suprised me a bit....even in auto trim. Not bad at all for the price.
