Setteling springs

I replaced my stock sport springs with sn95 v6 front springs thinking it would lower it but it lifted it up I understand that my springs were probably worn out and sagging but these lifted it around 1-1 1/2 inches how log will they take to settle and how much will they drop

If your talking about in the a arm then yes on my stocl sport springs I only han about 2 inches of clearance between tire and fender now there's like 3 1/2

what he is saying (I think)the spring has to go in the correct way,you have to time/rotate it a certain way.

They aint gonna drop an inch and a half...

I had everything replaced under my bird including the springs... They have dropped 1/2 inch in 6 months. I was told that the more one drives the car, the faster it will happen. Not sure if that is true or not. Also, my passenger rear dropped faster than the dirver rear... but they are even now. I'm sure mine will drop a little bit more yet. New springs are probably longer than the old ones,or have more pounds per square inch rating.

Supposedly the modern spring material is of such quality that they should not settle at all. maybe a little in the mounts or if the spring isn't seated properly from the git-go. I've seen no change in the Mach 1 springs I installed - which did lower the car about 1 1/2".
