hood scoops?!?

I'm looking for a hood scoop for my 86.  preferably something I could make functional, weather it be just for clearance, or ram air.  I've thought about just going to a junk yard and getting a couple scoops off a couple mustangs and basicly making a shaker scoop.  I've also thought about just mounting a mustang scoop on it.  but I realy want to weigh my options.  I've seen some awesom looking scoops on some of your post's, but cant find anywhere to look exept carhoods.com  and I'm realy not looking for just a high rise hood.

any help would be appreciated. thank'ya!

There's a newer Toyota pickup with an integrated hood scoop,it would be a clever graft job.On Ebay there are literally hundreds of scoops. Not that all of them are good ones, but the choices are there.A few members here have used the older Mustang/Torino style scoop.

I do like the Mach 1 hood scoops. They have a great look. Not cheap though. The Toyota Tundra has a really nice looking integrated scoop in the hood.Find a bent hood at the boneyard and cut the scoop out and get busy.
