performace upgrades! March 11, 2005, 08:52:26 PM Just this last weekend I installed the following in my 87' tbird: crane cams 1.6 ratio roller rockers, BBK equal length headers, BBK cold air kit, half inch manifold spacer, and old style finned aluminum valve covers. The headers were hard to install on the passenger side. I had to cut a large chunk out of the top motor mount bracket.Man, more power is great! My bird is startin' to actually starting to feel quite fast. Next up is 3.73s and the new BBK upper/lower intake, as well as a bigger MAF sensor. I'm considering a B-303 camsince I can get a good deal on it from a friend with a notch' stang. Quote Selected
Re: performace upgrades! Reply #3 – March 12, 2005, 03:23:52 AM It's a HO out of a 92' notch lx mustang with 70 some odd thousand miles. all I did to it before I put it in was a cam and port and polish on the e7 heads. It replaced a efi 3.8 that i railed on intill i blew a head gasket. (sorry to those with the sixer)My bird also has a jegs off road h-pipe to side pipes, underdrive pulleys, comp cams 2040 cam, and 2500 stall converter.Oh yeah, and a really bad flat black paint job applied by myself and the biggest radial tires i could fit on my 15x9 inch back tires. It has a old school musle car stance with the huge back tires and 14x6 8 holes on the front. Quote Selected
