odd question from NAPA April 13, 2008, 10:20:51 AM I got a ton of parts on order from napa for the mother in laws 96 kia sophia.plugswirescap rotorfuel filterair filtertiming belt (interferance engine)tail pipe with lerintermediate pipe with resonatorWhile i was at it, i ordered a new rack/pinion for my 20th and got asked if i had perfromance suspension. I said yes due to the quad shocks on the rear but have no idea what this means for the rack/pinion.is there a different rack out there based on suspension? I wouldnt think so but thought i would ask. Technically all 1987-88 cars were supposed to have the sport rack, according to all documentation that I have, but that wasn't the reality. They still had the 20:1 rack for all LS models (and base T-Bird models, probably the LX also, not sure about that one), and the sport rack for the XR7, 20th Anniversary, Turbo Coupe and T-Bird Sport models.
