Exhaust performance

Hello,
Can anyone tell me EXACTLY what the difference between Fox Body Mustang & Fox Body T-Bird exhaust system is?
I'm having great difficulty finding performance exhaust for my 88 T-Bird 5.0L.

Thanks,
Fred

There is quite a bit of difference.  Have a read through this: http://www.coolcats.net/tech/advanced/50dualexhaust.html

I went basically fully custom from Mustang/Mark VII headers back on mine, but most people just modify a Mustang exhaust.
2000 Jaguar XK8 Convertible - 4.0L DOHC V8 (AJ27)
2018 Ford Explorer - 3.5L DOHC V6 (Duratec 35)
1999 Mercury Grand Marquis - 4.6L SOHC V8 (Modular)
1987 Mercury Cougar LS - 5.0L V8 (Windsor) [SOLD in 2009]

I use Mustang FMS shorty headers, H-Pipe (lots of choices here) & cat-back (for an LX 5.0). I used an 18" Magnaflow ler to make up the 4" wheelbase difference so the tailpipes go over the axle approx. centered. Then I got 13" polished stainless tips (Flowmaster) - they weren't cheap, but I think they look sweet :D
