WTB several parts for 83 coug.

OK, so I have a few parts I would like to buy for the interior/exterior of my cat to get it back to nice condition...

I NEED:

Tan or black door panels in good condition
The lid to the center console in good condition
A good Drivers power seat motor (mine is sluggish)
The piece of exterior weatherstripping that goes in between the glass and the door (does anyone know where I can buy these new??)
The body trim that goes around the car
a new front bumper & header panel.
AND FINALLY...A new hood ornament or replacement one. My stand up is broken :(

IF anyone knows of places or sites where i can order this stuff new i would greatly appreciate it, thanks!!!

I have used door panels in 83 Tan with almost every part to them.

I have the "thin" lid in Charcoal, or the "thick" lid in Dark Blue (I have the Charcoal dye though).

We have an awesome thread here about restoring those (door weatherstripping) on the 83-86 cars, it's stickied to the top of the "Appearance Page" IIRC.

Which piece exactly and with or without cornering lights? Is your trim missing, damaged, or just "curled"? It is restorable and I have the chrome stripping new.

Shoot. I can't help on the last 3. CARS, Inc in Rainier OR has an 83 Cougar they're stripping (hit on the driver's side) that has all that, though they are kinda $$$. I can PM you their phone # if you get desperate.

I've got the header panel and front bumper cover you are asking about (even though they are from an '86 XR7), as well as tan '83 door panels. It would be pretty tough to ship most if not all of these items, but as long as you would cover shipping charges and some handling fees, we could probably work something out. The header and bumper cover are gonna be REAL interesting to package up and ship. They would have to go freight. Let me know.

I shipped a header panel form my old 87 cougar by way of UPS and they charged me about 80 bucks shipping... Thing that sux I only charged 40 through an ebay auction...

I have at least 2-3 power seat tracks from '83 cars. All with working motors.

As mentioned in your other thread I have an 84 header panel and an 83 bumper cover. Anyone you know planning trip in the area? The motor I could ship, the body pieces, not so much.
