Brake Proportioning Valve for 88 Cougar LS 6 Cyl Reply #1 – September 02, 2007, 05:32:00 PM are you sure that you really need a new valve? have you tried cleaning the inside of it with brake kleen? I'm assuming that your doing your own work... ah now I read your other posts..... have you looked in any junk yards around KC? I'd almost bet that the same valve was used on alot of other base model cars from the 80's mustang, thunderbird, ltd, etc. just take a look. Quote Selected
