*Solved* Need Help ASAP *Thanks everyone*

I have a 1991 Ford F-150 with a 5.0. My girlfriend went to start it and nothing happened, no lights no fuel pump nothing. 

Disconnected the battery, checked the fuses, and as many connetors under the hood as I could find. Nothing seem to work. I need to know what to check.

And if anyone has it the fuses panel diagram for the vehicle, it is missing it.

I need as much help as possible on this one guys/gals!

is there a clicking sound for a bit and then it stops?

Nope no clickin, when power is restored you turn the key and the fuel pump powers up. but when you try to start it everything goes dark.

Also when power is restored, leaving the key in the locked position and then turning on the lights, everything goes dark.

Also replaced the starter silonoid with a working one, and the battery has a full and good charge.

I think it is a short some were or bad breaker. Might even be the starter, but with the headlights killing it I don't think so.

Sounds like a short. Break out the volt meter:hick:
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.

I vote again, the negitive battery treminal. Let it be the clasp o the battery of the ground to the block. The vic did the same thing. We replaced the soloniod and clean all teh batter connections and it went away

I'm with Mikey on this one. I had the same problem with the '88.
Get some new battery cables and thoroughly clean the battery terminals.

Even if it doesn't fix the problem, it wouldn't hurt to put new cables on it anyway.

beat on the starter first off,, bendix might be stuck out into the ring gear.

but more likely,,,,,,,

one of the relays on the drive side just behind the air box. There you will find the cover labled and you will see the fuel pump relay (green) and the eec relay,,brown i think.  swap out the eec relay first and foremost.

Yep I am with everyone, the same thing happened to me before I replaced my battery wires and terminals. Also the ground was shot too.
