Let me ask again.... May 19, 2007, 12:27:10 AM Ok, I'll do a poll this time.Ok, so I guess I have to explain in detail what I mean...This is NOT FOR NASCAR PARTS FOR YOUR CARS.This is referring to t-shirts, hats, mugs, posters, etc. I just want to find out if it's worth getting a few of these things for door prizes or auction at Cat Jam. If no one collects this kind of stuff, it's senseless to have it because no one will try to win it. I don't want to have a ton of stuff left over for next year. It's a waste or everyone's money to do that. Quote Selected
Let me ask again.... Reply #1 – May 19, 2007, 12:43:27 AM Depends on whos stuff it is, what it is and how new/old it is I've been a fan for over 15 years and although I'm not into it as much as I used to be, I still collect stuff. Quote Selected
Let me ask again.... Reply #2 – May 19, 2007, 07:31:25 AM like what kinda nascar stuff? lil die-cast cars hats and shirts, or transmissions, rearends and engine componants?the first one would be easy, set whatever you got on a shelft... but if you were to say try and use a dog geared nascar 4 spd, have fun downshifting to first at every stop. rearend would be the only thing worth it if it came with axels and the chunk... engine componants wouldnt be any good b/c they dont get rid of them unless the repair would cost more than the chunk of metal. Let me ask again.... Reply #3 – May 19, 2007, 07:34:49 AM She means memorabilia type stuff, collectibles. Doesn't really matter if some people don't want it, it's a Chinese auction, you place your ticktets in bins for items you do want. As long as some of the folks going are into NASCAR. Quote Selected

Thanks Brian, I didn't realize I had to go into extensive explanations for a simple yes/ no poll. Sorry if I seem irritated guys. I just wanted a simple yes/ no answer, and the other thread got way out of hand. Now someone is asking if I'll be getting parts from NASCAR for their cars? COME ON!!! Quote Selected

Let me ask again.... Reply #8 – May 21, 2007, 07:46:43 AM Anyone can bring things to donate to the auction if they choose. Actually, we had some really great stuff donated last year, and I was very thankful to all who donated.I try each year to out do the year before. I have found some really cool things this year, and will do my best to get them. I try very hard for unique gifts for the auction. CougarSE, sorry, I can't sew anymore. However, I may be able to come up with a little something unexpected, if I can get my son to help me with it. Quote Selected
