To answer your question, especially if it'll help put an end to this circus: I gained a couple inches of vacuum at idle, using it on a 99,000 mile engine.. and things do "feel" a bit smoother on the old "ass-o-meter".. although that's completely subjective, of course. Had the engine been dirtier, I think it would've been a far more noticeable improvement.. and I intend to run a second bottle of Auto-RX on my truck soon. (which does have a bit more sludge than the Mark did) If you think your engine could use a thorough cleaning, I would recommend giving Auto-RX a shot if you're willing to spend the $25 or whatever per bottle.

Now please, can this come to an end? The peanut gallery is already trying to egg this on further.

I'm in no way perfect and have had my own personal wars with people (remember tbirdkid1987?), but you're letting it get to you too easily. Just let it roll off your back ,dude. It aint worth getting mad and taking it out on people you actually live with.

Daboss just dont get involved rabid dogs bite people that they dont know. You can also sense a bit of insecurity when he trys to place himself on a pedestal above all of us when he uses that fancy city folk talk. The deal of condescending people I have talked to like to use big words in an effort to either confuse or try to act like they are above people. and this one is for you bird351

I'm no genius, but I dont think that coming to a message board and getting mad at every single little detail is going to help those mentioned health problems...

I've had some pretty shiznitty experiences at message boards before, and the one that broke the camel's back for me was when a girl broke things off with me and the whole board humiliated me for no reason; I was a long time member that everyone knew and got along with, then they just turned on me. That's when I realized that message board brawls and attacks mean NOTHING. There is absolutely NO point to get extremely worked up over anything said or done at a message board. Fights are still bound to happen, and I'm sure I'll be a partint in a few, but I'm not going to let it bother me and cause my physical or mental health to worsen, like Bird351 is obviously doing.

You can see that we didn't ban you. Because, see, that's what you want. You're practically begging to be banned because you've told me several times...what was it, something about circumventing our security measures and coming right back? Because you're some kind of m4d h4x0r? Because you know how to get around IP banning? So you tried and tried to get yourself banned to "prove" to the admins (in particular, me) that you could out-do us.

Well, don't worry about that. I'm not in the mood to give you what you want. Therefore you are still here, albeit in a diminished capacity. I could have conferred with the other admins and we could have banned you outright. But we didn't. And I'm thinking that's probably the first time you've run across that in all your supposed board-banning experience. Which should tell you--and everyone else--that we're a different kind of message board. And if you weren't sealed up in that narrow world of yours, you'd probably figure that out.

Then again, you really don't want to be part of a community, do you? You just want to vent somewhere. And you did, here, for over 3 years. And in the end, when the admins decided to do something, we realized that you would just keep coming back, doing the same things over and over, no lessons learned and applied, just more -slinging from your end. After the dozen or so PM's that I received from others (and honestly, I don't know how many that Carm or Alex received...I never asked), things had to change. And things did. And we've had a wonderful board ever since.

The sad part is, all of this bickering puts a very negative image upon things for the new members. And for that, I'm very sorry. I can apologize, and I do. I am a human being with all the faults of the next guy or gal. We try to keep a smooth running ship here. Occasionally things do get a little out of hand. With Ben, things were always out of hand. And never with an apology. Well, that pretty much ties our hands. We did what we had to do. And for a change, with no apologies from us.

Such is life. Deal with it.

And while I'm being nice, I will indeed grant your wish, Ben.
