c5 transmission

what type of transmission filter does a c5 transmission have is it paper or metal filter?:cougarsmily:
84 el camino ss-daily driver(efi mild sbc,2004r, posi 3:42 rear.)
84 mercury cougar v6- was a v6/ nitrous drag car, going back to mostly stock
81 chevy malibu-protouring/  drag car.( efi sbc supercharged 283 that will rev to the moon, 2004r, 4:11 posi rear)

Hey blackcougar71,I see you're in OK City.I live in Ardmore.I'll be up there tomorrow aty the VA hospital.I have to transport some residents from our facility.Anyway,it should be a metal filter with a paper like material on the inside.

so is it reuseable when doing a transmission flush? or should i get another one?
