Fuel Pump Issues Reply #15 – December 30, 2006, 04:23:33 PM not to hijack this thread, but the mention of 89-93 ford truck fuel pumps, has me wondering: I'm putting a fuel cell in my 88 tbird's trunk. I have an 89 f150 fuel pump sitting on the shelf. Would that work for my 3.8 by mounting it in the trunk, and getting Russell fuel lines or something similar? My plans are to convert the motor down the line to carbed v8, so easy fuel pump interchangeability is what I want. Sound possible? Quote Selected
Fuel Pump Issues Reply #16 – February 10, 2007, 10:18:43 AM Yeah, so uh, I've been really lazy and haven't done this yet, just not in the mood to deal with all the rust, so where do I cut the trunk floor for the easy pump access? My trunk leaks like hell anyway and it's not like I can't seal an access panel in. Thanks everyone :D Quote Selected
Fuel Pump Issues Reply #17 – March 11, 2007, 10:52:43 PM Posting in this thread jinxed me. The Cougar died on the side of I-75 South of Atlanta today. Poo. After a few minutes, it would crank, run, and die with a quickness. Ater 1 1/2 hrs, it ran again. I was towed to a Pep Boys, but after driving around their parking lot for 15 minutes, I headed over to my brother's. U-haul to the rescue! Quote Selected

Fuel Pump Issues Reply #19 – March 12, 2007, 08:27:04 AM Jeremy, check your fuel line running from the pump itself.....it may have just popped loose. Quote Selected
