here is what you are looking for.  My haynes has this very picture in it ,, but i bought mine back in 90.
our cars dont have fuse boxes,, nor do they have a fuse box cap, unless i missed something along the way with my past three cougars.  im not sure if your talking about a cougar or tbird ,

HMm..i was playing with my fuses lastnight. I was changing the brake sensor when i found out that a wire has come out of the harness to cause my brake lights to work when they want to =:/..so it's rigded right now till I get another harness from a friend of mine..(BJL)..oh yeah..the wire poped out and sparked against the steeering column and burn the rear lights fuse out lol..so my dad adn i dig for a fuse laying around and we find these fuses thats must be 15 years old lol..the brand name is BRONCO..?lol well it works for now.

i would have thought cranking the car without an ecm hooked up would have changed a lot of things,,lol.

dood, seriously,, stop doing stuff like this,,
do some reading, do some tinkering, give her some love.  shot gun troubleshooting only gets you as far as your pocket is deep.

i would encourage any member of this board to step forward and produce the thread here that indicates your EEC was the fault and after replacing it, all your troubles went away.  These eec's are tanks imho.

blue spark. compression was: cyl.1-116, 2-125 3-125, 4-105, 5-129, 6-119. so i have a chain instead of a belt?
