2-owner 88 T-bird Sport now officially for sale - now half of original asking price!

Erm, well, at least, after Dec 23rd.

This was the car that I put a feeler out for in this thread.

Car is located in Sicklerville, NJ, zip 08081

Pictures are in that thread above, and I really took the pics to highlight the rough spots, as it were.  Most of the details are also listed in that thread.

I figure on $1900 or best reasonable offer, given the price suggested to me for the condition.  Also, in addition to what's listed, there's a foot-long horizontal scratch in the passenger-side door (no rust, but the scratch doesn't show in the pic), and the rotors need to be re-cut (though I may have that done by sale time).

If you're in New Jersey yourself, the inspection sticker is good until Sept 2008.

And if anyone wants pictures of particular areas of the car, let me know.

Car officially becomes available tomorrow.

For anyone curious as to EXACTLY what options the vehicle has - well, take a look (plus the VIN is there for anyone who wants to do a Carfax type of search).  Well, except the stereo, which has been upgraded, and now has 6 speakers.

Er, couldn't get quite the whole sticker in - it's bigger than the scanner.

Yep, you read that right . . I'm cutting the price down to $1000.

Why?

Well, in order to embarrass me, the car has decided to do the following:

1) Kill off the power antenna.
2) Puke up a water pump.
3) Nearly lose the CD changer.

The CD changer issue is the previous owner's fault . . he mounted it to the CARDBOARD in the trunk for crying out loud....

Anyway, the car's still test-drive worthy, just gotta add coolant because the water pump will weep it out.

I'm figuring though it's more worthwhile for the buyer to change the pump than me to take it to a shop and try to even partially recoup the cost in the price with haggling.

Power antenna - motor still makes noise, antenna goes nowhere.  Stuck about halfway up.

Also, in the other thread on this car, it's been mentioned that the original price suggested to me is too ambitious.  Apparently so.

The not-installed Mustang OE headers still go with it, of course, as does all paperwork, the CD changer, etc.
