Front struts. December 17, 2006, 12:51:55 PM Over the summer I switched to the TC 8.8. When I did this I went ahead and replaced the shocks, and added the quad shocks. I used KYB Gas-A-Just for all of them. So I decided to replace the front struts now, but Summit has had them on back order since June. I was looking at using the KYB GR-2. So I was doing a search on the internet and came across a guy selling Koni adjustables, part number KO-8741-1017 for $99.96 a piece. I tried doing a search on this part number and could find no information on this particular strut. The same guy is also selling KYB Select-A-Ride Gas Struts for $49.96 part number KY-734002 where you can select the level of firmness that you want by using a screwdriver on the top of the strut and selecting what you want. However a search of this part number also yielded no results. Has anyone ever heard of or seen these? Quote Selected

The Select-A-Ride have a screw type mechanism in the very top of the strut that you adjust. There are only 4 settings. You have to open the hood to do this. Quote Selected
