Ford should build a Deuce

Kind of like the Prowler was intended, but with the lines of the '32 Ford. The reason I say this is this is the 75th Anni. of the Deuce Coupe, and Ford is throwing a big party. Not the coupes, just the roaster. Build 750 on a stripped Mustang chassis with half the motor on display out the side, if not a set of headers visible for just a moment.

This is a nostalgic icon of a car that deserves its moment in the retro sunshine. After Ford pulls out of this retro phase, there will be a set of modern classics made in a ten year period that will be an era of its own in 30years. (I do think the retro era will be well remembered when it's long gone)

...And of course, you'd show a pic of one with a small block Chevy in it :toilet: (this is not a comment about you, it's a comment about the sad fact that most 32 Ford street rods have been ruined with SBC bellybutton engines)

It's a sad fact that most custom jobbies have SBC's in them. As much as I like the motors, try something different already.

Anyway, I didn't even look at the motor. I picked that one because it was one of the rare decent looking pics I could find with a hood on one. :P

I can't picture any production car not having a hood.

Be neat to to build one with a 5.4 and a T56, graft in a '00 Cobra IRS (then again, it'd break easy) and have a hell of a retro-T. :D
