Project blown head gasket

Alright so I scene it coming I new they where getting tired but last week I took her out on a cold day and she wasn’t happy I left a fog behind me. Yes it was embarrassing but I had half a smile, here’s my excuse to put on my GT40 heads and intake off a 97 explorer that I bought last summer so the last few days I been ordering parts and cleaning others.
From summit I ordered head bolts, 1.6 roller rockers, BBK 70mm TB, instead of EGR spacer I bought EGR blocker plate. I sent the head to a local speed shop to have them milled .010, they gave them back to me temporary so I mildly ported the inside the exhaust I smoothed out the bump for the pump. They have them back there also going to check my valve springs. They also have my upper&lower intake there going to sandblast it I just don’t know what color to pant it yet and I’m going to use the stock plenum plate for 88 tbird so it kinda looks stock/sleeper. I just reordered the head bolts cause I didn’t get the ½ sleeve washers for the GT40 heads I mistakenly thought since they came of a 302 id be alright. Anyway in the next couple of days ill be getting everything together and hopefully by next week its done with no problems and I could unleash the beast.
And I thank all who helped me on these engine tech forums.

Here are some pics of my GT40 intake off explorer and valve covers I painted them with aluminum engine paint.
Might as well make it look good.

On the long vacuum Tube poking from the front of the upper intake,I cut mine down right before the bend upwards (To make it straight) and connected the vacum from the charcoal canister purge valve there. It also doesn't look silly having a vacuum line heading for the hood.....although it won't touch the hood.I did the Explorer intake install last year.If I can help at all,let me know.If you need pics or tech,I'll be glad to help.Good luck.

Thankyou actually I cut it last night w/the wiz wheel I was in my garage till 240am messing w/everything. Its tuff trying to find time (me working nights and the wife working days and watching the kid in-between) so the wife got home at 9pm I put the propane heater on in the garage and started getting ahead of my self. All the intake bolt I cleaned up on the wire wheel cut that piece off to be blocked. I figured I’m already disconnecting the EGR so why stop there the only 3 vacuums I’m hooking back up is PCV, fuel pressure, & brake boost. The rest ill plug. And clean up under the hood.

So how do you like the explorer intake.
