ok i am rebuilding a 302. but i need to know if the quality of summits brand of products are any good? bcuz there lifters are like 3.00 per lifter

Summit products are made by other name-brand companies for them (BBK, Trick Flow, etc.). There is usually no logo on the parts, hence the cheaper price. You really can't go wrong using them.

They don't really advertise it, but Trick Flow is owned by Summit.

Just kidding, the vast majority of HP stuff I've got was purchased through Summit. Although I think some Summit branded is cheap chinese copies so I usually wont buy Summit brands with out a little research and comparison. I. e. take a close look at a summit AN fitting and then compare it with Earls or Aeroquip and you'll see what I mean. That doesn't mean you cant get "the good stuff" at a great price from Summit though.
