Rear brake question???

Could a warped rear brake drum cause vibrations throughout the car at speeds above 65 MPH and while braking from highway speeds? My '85 T-Bird is having some vibration issues. It seems like the passenger side rear brake is grabbing intermittently when braking. I can hear a sing/squeaking noise when applying the brakes, plus I can feel the car jerking as it comes to a stop. If I apply the brakes fairly hard, the whole car shakes. It seems to happen more, and get a little worse the longer I drive the car.
I replaced the shoes and wheel cylinders on the rear in October of 2014.

Still in search of the vibration I replaced the front and rear struts/shocks, front brakes (rotors, pads), and front wheel bearings. The tires are 1 year old and are properly balanced.

If it is the rear drums, I can go get them turned/replaced, but I wanted to get you guys' input first.

Thanks!

I would just pull that rear corner apart and look for a broke shoe, spring or something eles out of place.

Shaking when braking is almost always caused by the front discs or a wheel bearing, but I remember the last few threads you had replacing those parts.

When I was 16 I had a weird squeeling noise when I was braking right befor I was getting ready for a long drive. I decided to pop off the brakes and look around and the whole rear drum brake assembly has broken off the pins and was rattling around and getting ground down inside the drum.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I have had a rear rotor cause the vehicle to shake, not as severe as a front rotor but still does it.  Are you sure you have a warped drum or a bent axle?

No, I'm not sure that I have a warped drum or axle. All I know is that I can feel the rear brakes grabbing, making a sing noise, and the car jerks in time with the noise. That's when slowing down from a slower speed. When slowing down from highway speeds, I get a really bad vibration coming up through the steering wheel. I've replaced everything up front except as far as brakes are concerned.
