Title: Full dig. dash bulb ?

The 6 hologen bulbs,I tryed a 194 in it's place,no difference in light I can't see a difference except price.A couple of mine went out,I thought I would put all 194's in.Any reason I can't?

Thanks for the answer,Does heat play in to it?Holo's do burn cooler than cand.

I've had all 194s in mine for about three years now with no heat related issues that I can see.  Those little halogens that were OEM are impossible to find.

I can get 2033's but 4 something a piece.I went with the 194's.free

I can guarantee those halogen bulbs would run hotter than 194's - that's why you're not supposed to handle halogen bulbs. The oil in your fingerprints can cause the superheated glass to fracture, which in turn can cause the bulb to explode.
 
As for running 194's, I've done it in every "disco dash" car I've had
