I have thought about it from time to time but finally searched for it.

It seems we could have these guys custom fab a hood for our cars.

and it seems pretty cheap for what they do.

no I just found it a few hours ago, so I will be contacting them soon.

I am still thinking about what style hood I want.

I am really thinking about an eliminator style hood. I will let everyone know their price when I contact them. Perhaps I could get them to drop the price for us, if I tell them there are many people interested in custom hoods for our cars.

*Update*

Sent them an email about what I want, and the interest in custom stuff for 1983-88 cougs and birds.

Let's hope they are interested in helping us out!

thats exactly what i was thinking. id like something in CF, like a 3" cowl with a nice taper following the lines of our origional hoods, or even a stock hood in CF.

I Know Kinda Off The Topics A Lil But I Have A 2.5 Inch Cowl Hood That Follows The Lines On My Bird I Mad It Awhile Back I Will Post Pics Up If Any One Wats To See Just To Get An Idea Of What It Would Look Like Cause I Think That It Would Be Bad Ass If We Could Get Some Glassed Ones Made

The Cervini Stang hood would be cool, or more of the SVO style hoods, like Thunderstein. Carbon Fiber TC hood.

CF cobra R hood would be killer....or a mach 1 hood for use with the shaker.

for real.... I'd say 20 birds/cats sitting outside with us angry redneck folk sure would give them a scare. hhahaha oh well. Fun to dream.

Perhaps you should have told them you had a rare import Honda Cougar Type R model. Maybe then they've have been interested... ;)

Those guys are actually about 45 minutes from me.

The Rockville area is money. Even if they did the work, they would most likely be too expensive.

The probably wont do the work since our hoods are steel.
