Title: So the C4 is in
Post by: CougarCoupe88 on August 23, 2006, 12:34:28 AM
i feel like i have a new car this thing wants to run like a champ.

all i can say is the Aod didnt fight coming out it knew it's fait was the garage floor. didnt even splill all over the place till the guynext door pulled the dipstick tube out and i couldnt get it back in fast enough. so i got a few quarts allover my arm. then that started the Aod bleeding game. sitting on the floor spewing . till the rag stoped it.

anyway. the C4 whent in like a champ so much room i can see the bellhousing bolts without lowering the trans. we did have to shorten the bell bolts. . the Hurst shifter whent in fine no cutting of the floor. only had to hack up the console a bit. but have some ideas on cleaning up the look of it.  still on day 4 of no radio. just no time with work.

all in all the job was done in less than 24 hours. the driceshaft worked to no cutting . i'll get some pics of the room and shifter in the daylight i have to adjust the cable to get the shifter just rite.

nice, The c4 in my 88 mustang was nice but was starting to die...I still have it layin around if I ever wanna use it again lol.

my aod didnt fight much either in my 90 it came right out and didnt put up to much if a fight, minus cutting the lines and looking like I just murdered someone with a hacksaw. Mine bled all over the place after it was down, accidently grabbed the converter to pull it out from under the car, so needless to say you can imagine how much atf came out lol.

yeah. that atf can get slick and finds it's place everywhere. you know what worked good to contain the little spills that came about. them shop blanket type things. they worked great. and the creeper doesnt have trouble rolling threw it like speedy dry.
