I'm trying to decide which tires to run on the 17"x8" Cobra R's that will be residing on my '86 TC. They're gonna be 245's, I know that much, but not sure if I want 45, 50 or 60 series. I know 40's don't fill up the wheelwell quite the way I'd like. I've seen pics of 245/50R17's and they almost fill it up too much! Does anyone have side view pics of 245/45R17's on their Turbo Coupes?? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
i can't help you with the 245's but i went with 235-45-17 up front and 255-40-17 out back. i think it fits the car nicely. it needs to be lowered a hair but it still looks nice i think

heres mine with 245 45 ZR17
i'll have to dig up the pic, but the 45s work great, not as shallow of a tire as the 40 and not to big like the 50,... actualy now that i think about it, i have pictures on my cardomain.
You'll want 45's
