If you attended CJ06 you will certainly remember Jessie Green's stunning '95 Cougar with the flames and air ride.

I just got a call from his wife Debbie. He died in a motorcycle accident this past weekend.
I hope that you got a chance to talk to Jessie, to discover what a class act he was, what a generous human being, what an easygoing person. I had the privilege to have dinner with Jessie & Debbie on Saturday night at the show and I don't think I'll ever forget that now. He was telling stories of growing up, fixing up cars, cruising...the things we do now and probably take for granted sometimes. I'm still in shock (as is Debbie).

Please remember Jessie, Debbie and all their kids and grandkids in your thoughts and prayers.
Oh my gosh! This is just shocking!
Debbie and their family will be in our prayers.
Roger got to talk to Debbie for quite a while at CJ, and he said that she and Jessie are awesome people.
I didn't get to talk to them much because I was at the pavillion most of the day.
Oh wow. I cannot believe this happened. He and his family will be in my prayers. And he will not be forgotten. I loved his car!!!
Wow, very sad to hear. I was so looking forward to seeing them come back next year.
That's terrible news. I'll keep his family in my thoughts.
I hope his family can continue his legacy and we keep him alive in our thoughts forever
That is horrible news. As Eric said, Jessie and Debbie are one class act. Jessie was one of the nicest, friendliest people I've ever met.
I will certainly be keeping Debbie and the rest of their family in my thoughts.
im speachless...
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family
this is shocking news, to say the least...
Wow.. Even though I didn't get to meet him at CJ because I was late.. I just know he musta been a great guy because I remember Eric talking about him.
This really goes to show that life is really unexpected and to live it to it's fullest. From what I can see and from what I hear people sayin Jesse certainly was someone who lived life to its fullest.
I'll keep him and his family in my thoughs.
Oh my, that's horrible.
My thoughts and prayers are with Debbie and his family as well.
That is horrible! They will be in our prayers!
of all of the pictures of CJ06 Jesse's cougar was the one that caught my eye the most, he will be in our thoughts and prayers.
sounds like a great guy. He will be missed by all, our prayers go out to the family and friends of Jesse.
My family will pray for his family during these trying times. He will be missed.
Those two were great! I just dont even know what to say, my dad died on his bike Sept. 2, 2000 and it still feels like it was yesterday.
I know she probably wont see this but Debbie Im terribly sorry, I wish there was something I could do :sorry:
Ok everyone, I ran this by Eric and he thought I should go for it, so here's the idea.
I'm going to start a new thread under CatJam. The sole purpose of the thread will be a sort of card to send to Debbie and her family. I'll start the post off with a short condolence and then underneath I'd like everyone to put their name and screenname, copy and pasting the entire post and adding your name and maybe a few words if you wish (keeping it short though, please). After a couple of days, I'll take the last post, print it off, and snail mail it, along with an actual card, to Debbie. The printed post will act as a signature on the card from all of us. I think I'll also put a link to the post somewhere on the card so that Debbie can check it for herself if she so wishes.
I'd like to keep the replies to that thread to "signatures" only, keeping it as "clean" as possible so that when I print it, there's not a lot of other stuff on there.
Thanks everyone. If you were at CJ this year, you know what an impression these two made on everyone, and I just felt compelled to do something a little more for Debbie in this trying time.
This is awful news. I'm glad I was able to meet briefly with Jessie and Debbie during the picnic and at dinner. I'll definitely keep them both in my thoughts, especially whenever I see a Cougar on the road.
omg i wish I would have been able to get online sooner.
That is horrible, he was an amazing person to talk to. My Dad and I had a blast talking to the couple. They were truely amazing people and so excited to be apart of the club. Oh my, thoughts and prayers for the family.
God Bless.
