Looking pretty slick. The treatment on the grille/headlight buckets looks pretty good.
Now if you could just stand still while taking the pics ;)
hahaha I was too exited when taking them! :giggle:
mmm looks good
That makes me want a 4-eyed cat. :D
Now I know what my cat would look like with turbines. Im still itching for Cobra R's.
Ooohhhh they look great!
I must say Carl, it is your car that is really wanting me to get my '86 on the road. I have turbines for it too.
looks really sharp man :D

Am I the only one who sees this picture and thinks 'raise the rear 1-2" then add chrome side pipes'?
Heh, yep, you're alone. I never think 'raise the rear'. I dunno. I guess I just don't dig that sort of stance.
Carl, car looks awesome. Those wimpy 14's were pooping all over your new paint job. The turbines make finish it out nicely. Very clean car. In a word, Awesome.
My suggestion would be to go get some of the longer lug nuts, so that the heads are visible through the center caps, it makes a suprising difference.
Aw yeah, Shawn's right 'bout that. I believe they're known as the long-shank, tapered seat 1/2" lugs. You can buy a set of genuine OEM lugs and locks from Summit Racing under the McGard brand. Be forewarned though: no matter what you do, the chrome will eventually split and they'll look all rusty. Glad I picked up a set of custom stainless steel long shank lugs when I did... ;)
Anyway Carl, car looks GREAT! Very clean man.
Bitchin lookin cat!
i had thoughts of doing that to my bird.. so no your not alone :D
Yea, the guy that put the tires on suggested I buy them, but they were 2 dollars a piece and the tires were already $250 so I said I would get them later hahaha. I am low on funds as it is, and I know every Cougar/T-Bird Enthusiast knows what I mean!!! :hick:
Anyway, thanks everyone for all the good comments and praise! :D
I too agree with the lug nuts...i had em on my turbines.
I think also that the rear would look cool raised about an inch..but not much more.
Lookin' good man...i like it. :D Nothin' like a shiny Cat!
I had them on my turbines also. I think they would look great on your car since you have just enough chrome. Other than that, i think your car looks great dude.
Wow that looks great dude. Don't do anything else to the exterior of the car, well except those lug nuts ;) . It looks great as it is. Makes me want to get some Turbines for my Bird........
Nice job Carl. That thing looks awesome. The turbines look great on that car and I also really dig what you did with the headlight buckets and grill.
I bet that car is great to cruise the GA back roads in. (I used to be stationed at Robbins AFB.)
Great work, man. You're doing exactly what I would do to that cat.
Noice!
:)
i hate turbines but those look good on yours
*long gasp*
bite your tongue! :D
I think those look good carl. Makes me want the paint on my bird done. Turbines are alright they are just not me. Kinda the some of you done like the 10 holes liek what I have.
