Title: 1988 5.0L Musatng STOLEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Post by: 1WLD BRD on August 14, 2006, 10:46:47 AM
Man my life sucks!!!!

Well, last night I went in on midnight shift, (which is bad enough) and came out at 6:30am to find my Stang had been stolen from the work parking lot at midnight.  It was parked right under the security cameras and right in plain sight of the fu@king security shack, and it took these assh@les over 2 minutes to steal it, (caught on video, but unidentifiable and cant read there plate) but security never even bothered to check what was up.
I had a ton of shiznit in the car too.  my 8.1Megapix digicam, a brand new $150 4.5" angle grinder, a ton of CDs, and all the performance parts I had on it, plus to top it off..................................

NO thief coverage!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, I just got raped with a chesse grater!!!!!

I will just crawl into the corner and die now, thank you.:yuck:

Just hope that they take a couple parts off it and leave it somewhere. They freaking burn  :flame: them over here when they're done raping them of parts

Maybe you will get her back with just the hood, stereo, and little stuff missing. Good Luck ;)

Man that sucks. In the States they either burn 'em or dump 'em somewhere when they're done taking all the parts from 'em.

Anyone ever watch Home Improvement?
The episode where the son's Mustang was stolen and they find where it is thanks to the jelly donut comes to mind.

I'm sorry to hear about it. Hopefully you can recover what you can and the guys get caught.

Since the guys nor the tag weren't clear enough to see was the video clear enough to tell what kind of car they were driving and color?

Sorry to hear that RJ. Almost sounds like an inside job since that was your first time on midnights. I don't suppose you can get a copy of the tape they got. I've got some programs that might be able to bring up the shagrz license plate a bit.

yeah, I will be getting a copy of it tomorrow.  The security guard called me this afternoon and said it looks like the exact same car that was the drop off car.  white, same sunroof.

I think it was an inside job too.  since it was stolen at midnight which obviously the guy wasn't afraid of me getting out with that shift change.  If I can identify the f@$%er I will KILL him  :macgun: :2gunsfiri :bricks1:

if your parking lot has a security guard, and cameras, id go after them and sue... thats a secure parking area, and i see it as 100% that security guards fault if it was in plane site... shiznit, hear at the mall no less, if you snoop around a car the mall security will stop you and question you, and the fewer cars there are in the lot, like at 11pm, they stop EVERYONE and talk to them, usualy kicking them out... and thats not even a closed lot like your work its rite? some body should pay for this, and it deffenatly should NOT be you...

thats one BIG kick in the balls there. I would find out who teh security guards buddies are. Obviouisly they knew the angles of the camera. Maybe an ex guard?

Could it have been someone you pissed off recently? The guards would/could have been bribed to look the other way. Either that or they went out on a donut run

when I worked at the plastic company (rubbermaid sell off)  the security guards were all fat and lazy...  so I second the doughnut idea...

No shiznit on this one:
Ware my dad works (American Standerd in the acutal factory in Salem Ohio) there is a guard that is no less than 350lbs and carries a o2 tank. How/Why do they even hire people like this who have no way to do their job? It's no wonder this nice guys car got stolen. I would def. try to get a case against them if nothing comes up.

Ain't that the truth, I was in that Deptford mall when I was in High school and got seperated from my buddys so I went back to my friends car and knew how to get the door open cause the window would just tilt forward. So I'm sitting there about to light up a smoke and 2 security guards come flying up.. within seconds of me getting in. Than they wouldn't believe me and gave me a bunch of .

Lucky me, my friends were walking up as they were about to take me away to "mall jail" lol

:sorry: about jacking your thread :)

I know it wasn't a conspiracy, it ws just security NOT doing it's job.  I am going to talk to my lawyer today and see what he says.  Insurance isn't going to do anything about it.  So I am totally screwed.

Nicethought guys, but they don't have to bribe them.  just come in around midnight when they are all sleeping, and too lazy to get out of there chairs.

Freaking ingrates.  I'm a security guard and i would be fired if something like that happened on my watch.  Of course, we only hire ex or current military where i work, and we are all armed.

Did it have any anti-theft device installed, like a club, kill switch or alarm? 2 minutes seems like a long time to steal a Mustang. I had an 88 LX that got ripped off years ago. I got it back a week later and learned that all they used to steal it was a bar to break the steering column lock and screw driver. I got lucky that it was only joy riders that took mine. Hopefully they'll just drive it hard, run it out of fuel and abandon it like what happened to mine. Good luck.

Car thieves should hang from a rope until dead!

well, at least the cops found my camera.  They busted a guy in another stolen car and he had my Digital camera on him.  Nabbed the guy in kitchener! but he wont tell them what happened to my car.  So now all they gotta do is make him talk and I can get my car back.
