Got a question fellers, got a guy selling a 88 mustang GT SD cam. is this that odd ball cam ?? or the same as the good o'l standard HO!?? I asked if he could still read the grind# but he can't

While their may be some minor differences, for practical purposes all Mustang HO roller cams are the same... That would include '85-'93...

The earlier SD cams (pre mid '87) actually had a very slightly more agressive cam profile when they originally came out. It might be worth 3 or 4 HP over a later one.......Not enough to wait around for one. For $5 get it.
