I need some pics of a carbed thunderbird or cougar.
More specificaly a 5.0 with a close up of the linkage. Reason being I have 1.5 weeks to have my cougar back up and running. I sold the tempo and told the guy 3 weeks. Now I need to figure out what will be easier put the injection back on or put a carbed setup on.
I have a carbed 5.0 in my 83 T-Bird I can take some pics for you tommorrow. I switched to a Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and an Edelbrock 4 barrel. If that would be of any assistance just let me know.
what are you doing exactly? what year is your car? if your doing a ho swap or something of the sort, i did my ho/t5/kmember swap in a weekend.
I'm trying to put the engine back together and sort out the electrical gremlins.
With the injection I was having starting problems. It would crank forever then start and stall when I put it in gear. I kept getting intake temp sensor error codes.
I just need to see how the kick down linkage is setup on the carb so that I can decide which will be easier.
