how do i hide my lplate numbers and is it that big of deal
Paint is always the last on my list and my car looks way worse than yours. If you are worried about the looks just piant you header panel and bumper cover.
Looks better then mine too. I think you should do some engine work.
i like the primer front end. i grew on me. i have no idea when i am going to paint in but i am doing the body work and helping with the paint so i can learn how to do it. i was thinking engine work but i would also like to get it lowered and bigger brakes and rims
problem is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
i go back to work tommorrow so i will have some cash flow again and i will be paying back my debt so mods are on the way
you could allways do the black primer on the nose. by the way i like how the ponies look on your car. i normally dont like the way they look on birds and cougars
Most people just open the pic in MS paint and block out the number plate. Personally, I don't think it's a big deal. After all, everybody in your city can see the number plate anyb time they want to...
Personally I would go through the suspension.. Thats what I did... and compared to your car mine looks like utter shiznit.
I agree with Claude. Speed is no good to you unless you can safely and efficiently put it to the ground. Plus, it will be more fun to drive either way.
MAN those stang wheels look so nice on that car!!!
beautiful
Ok, I see I have a lot of work to do to my '86 now.
If you want to paint that header panel and bumper, get a couple cans of gloss black spray paint. Spay it and then wet-sand it smooth and polish it up. You won't be able to tell that you went this route with the paint and it'll only cost about $10.
i had a pair of spring lined up up i missed they cause i was out of town. i want to go 2" in the front and i when my subs are in i will see how low it gets out back.
I voted for springs. It's a two for one deal. Handling (assuming you are getting new shocks/struts) and looks. Those wheels look really good. Nice Cougar. :D
, man. I only took one seat out to install my console.
I must say, your car is very nice & clean. I bet you could rattle-can the front end and make it look almost like it matches. Very nice, indeed.
i took the pass anger side out first because of the way i had to pull in the barn then i relized that i was screwed and it might have been faster to sweat my balls off in 98* sun but it was easier when my buddy dropped by. i couldnt get the ashtray out but after i looked at the back it was all easy. Erics mod page on it doesnt say there are screws in the back so i was looking all over in the front of it
i will post pics soon but i have to clean it up some.
I'm gona have to do a very detailed wrightup of the differences in the consoles. Maybe help someone else down the road.
i'd say paint should always be last,,,,,,a killer car on the side of the road ,or on a tow truck,,,,,is ''pretty junk''
im starting on the body work just cause that is what i can afford right now, cost of supplies, my dads friend does body work so he is going to teach me how to do everything,. ill be ridin more primer as the year goes on.
here are some new pics. driver side door pillars stripped and a grill, there are some pics of it when it was still black after i gaot the ponies on

Grill looks good. Just do a spray bomp on the header panel and bumper and it'll look even better;)
starting to not like the grill. i have a stock laying around but im not sure if i want to switch back
makes it look like a bently if you had some more contrast in there it'd look good
nice car man
