Title: Updated pics of Baer Rotor upgrade
Post by: slicksport88 on July 14, 2006, 08:22:36 PM
Here's some pics of the Baer rotor upgrade kit I purchased. All I can say is wow. Braking performance has increased even further than it did from my cobra brake install. Just to refresh it's drilled/slotted 13" up front and 13.25 in the rear.

I appreciate the comments. The rims i believe are standard equipment on 03 cobras :dunno: maybe someone smarter could chime in on that one. The outside is machine finished and the inside areas are silver.

arent i looking at cobra brakes....:dunno:

the front anyway, i see the rear has the larger rotors.

edit:
okay, im retarded. i just realized you only changed the rotors. not the front callipers as well. so the rotors made a differance....what pads are you useing? did you install stainless lines up front. it makes a great difference with pedal feel....

Yeah the kit is nothing more than rotors only for the front and rotors and a bracket for the rear. As far as the pads im still using semi-metallic. The rep on the phone told me the ceramic pads would be even better but after pricing them i just couldn't justify it on a daily street driver. Im very happy with the way it stops right now so i''ll just keep running the semi-metallic's. i don't have stainless lines yet but i've heard they do help with pedal feel as you noted. im sure it won't take me long to break down and buy a set:D
